Gimbrere Legal has already helped many foreign clients to obtain their NIE number. On this page we provide you with corresponding forms for you to upload your data.

Once we process the information, you will receive an email from us with the POA (Power of Attorney) specially drafted for your case, which you will have to certify in a notary office in your country and send it to our offices so we can apply for the NIE or NIF on your behalf.

Why and for what purpose is a NIE number necessary?

For foreigners in Spain, the NIE number serves as a tax identification number. It is more common than in any other European nation and is required for every official act.

As a non resident of Spain I discovered that it is virtually impossible to solve minor Bank issues. After appr over 30 emails I send to Banco Sabadell to close a bankaccount after the death of my wife I gave up. After a while I was chased by the Banks debt collectors (€ 24 debt!). What I could not accomplish in 5 months Georgina managed to accomplish in less than 5 days. Communication in English, Dutch and Spanish (probably Italian as well) was clear and fast. Emails were responded promptly. All in all a very good and professional approach. I can strongly recommend the Gimbrere law firm. A job well done by Georgina.
